Quality Assurance & Inspection Policy

1. Commitment to Quality

At SKELO Tiles, we understand that international buyers demand consistency, precision, and reliability. Every slab we produce follows a strict Quality Assurance (QA) system, ensuring our products meet global standards for thickness, color uniformity, flatness, and durability.

Our commitment goes beyond production — it extends to inspection, packaging, and shipment, guaranteeing that every order arrives in perfect condition.

2. Manufacturing Standards

All SKELO slabs are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015-certified processes, with continuous monitoring and documentation of:

  • Raw material composition and supplier batch records
  • Kiln temperature calibration and color consistency
  • Dimensional accuracy and surface finish
  • Breaking strength and water absorption levels

Each production batch is traceable through a unique lot number system, allowing full transparency from raw material to final container loading.

3. In-Process Quality Control

Quality assurance is integrated at every stage of production:

  1. Raw Material Inspection – Incoming clay, pigments, and additives are tested for purity and particle size.
  2. Slab Pressing & Sintering Check – Each press cycle is digitally monitored to maintain uniform density.
  3. Surface & Glaze Verification – Visual and instrumental checks for gloss, texture, and defects.
  4. Cutting & Rectification – Edge precision and dimensional control within ±0.3 mm tolerance.
  5. Final Inspection – 100% surface inspection under natural and artificial light.

4. Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)

Before container loading, every order undergoes a final third-party or in-house inspection covering:

  • Color & texture uniformity
  • Size calibration and thickness accuracy
  • Packaging stability and labeling verification
  • Pallet and crate moisture protection

Clients may also appoint an independent inspection agency (e.g., SGS, BV, or TÜV) to verify goods before shipment. We fully support buyer audits and quality checks at our facility.

5. Sampling & Product Approval

To ensure expectations are aligned:

  • Pre-production samples can be sent for client approval before mass production.
  • Any approved sample becomes the reference standard for the final batch.
  • Samples are stored for 6 months for quality traceability.

6. Non-Conformity & Resolution

If any non-conforming product is identified:

  • A detailed Corrective Action Report (CAR) is issued.
  • Root cause analysis and replacement arrangements are executed immediately.
  • For verified defects within warranty, SKELO will replace or compensate according to the Refund & Warranty Policy.

Our aim is zero disputes — and 100% client satisfaction.

7. Factory Audits & Compliance

SKELO Tiles welcomes buyer factory visits, video audits, or third-party verifications. Our factory complies with:

  • CE and SGS material testing requirements
  • ISO 14001: Environmental Management
  • Ethical labor and workplace safety standards
